The 380,000 square-foot NBD Technology Center uses 37 CALMAC modular ice storage tanks to provide a total of 5,400 ton-hours of off-peak air-conditioning capacity. Demand and energy cost savings exceed $40,000 per year with additional savings provided by the low-temperature air-distribution system that storage makes viable.
